Terms & conditions

Last updated 10 September 2026. This page contains all four of our policies: the terms of sale, our privacy notice, the disclaimer, and shipping and returns. Each part is numbered separately.

Draft — not yet reviewed

This document describes how the store actually behaves today, but it has not been checked by a lawyer, and the clauses marked [like this] need a decision from you before it is fit to publish. Remove this notice by setting SHOW_DRAFT_NOTICE to false in components/legal/LegalPage.tsx.

The seller, and the Data Fiduciary

The same company sells you the goods and decides how your personal data is handled. Under the DPDP Act that second role is called the Data Fiduciary, and you are the Data Principal.

Part A

Terms & conditions

The contract that applies when you buy something: pricing, discounts, GST, payment, cancellation and use of the showroom.

A01Agreeing to these terms

By browsing the ELIZPARIS boutique, adding items to a bag or placing an order, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the store.

You must be old enough to enter a binding contract in your jurisdiction to place an order. Where you are under the age of majority, you may use the store only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

A02The boutique and what it shows

ELIZPARIS presents its collection inside an interactive 3D showroom. Garments are displayed on mannequins and racks rendered in real time, and on product photography.

Colour and fit are approximations. A rendered garment and a photographed one will both differ from the physical item depending on your screen, its colour profile and the lighting in the scene. Sizes follow the measurements listed on each product page; where a rendering and the written specification differ, the written specification governs.

Availability is not guaranteed until an order is confirmed. We may withdraw, change or restock any piece at any time.

A03Prices, discounts and coupons

All prices are shown in Indian Rupees (INR). The price that applies to an order is the price confirmed at checkout, which the server recalculates from its own catalogue — a price shown in the browser is never the one charged.

Volume discounts apply automatically to the order subtotal:

  • 5% on subtotals from ₹1,000 to ₹2,499
  • 10% on subtotals from ₹2,500 to ₹4,999
  • 15% on subtotals from ₹5,000 and above

A valid coupon code stacks on top of any automatic discount, and is applied to the subtotal that remains after the automatic discount is deducted. Coupons may be withdrawn, limited in number, or restricted to particular pieces or customers, and cannot be applied to an order that has already been placed.

A04Taxes

GST is charged at 5% on the discounted value of the goods, and is shown as a separate line on the bill and on the tax invoice. Where the applicable statutory rate changes, the rate in force on the date of the order applies.

A05Delivery charges and dispatch

Delivery is free on orders with a subtotal at or above ₹999. Below that, a flat charge of ₹79 applies. The charge is calculated on the subtotal before discounts, so a discount never introduces a delivery fee that was not there before it.

Orders are dispatched to the address you give at checkout. Please check it carefully — we cannot redirect a parcel once it has left us. Delivery estimates are estimates, not guarantees, and we are not responsible for delays caused by the courier, weather or events outside our control.

Dispatch timeline: [state your dispatch window, e.g. 2–4 working days].

A06Payment

Payment is taken at checkout through our payment partners. Card, UPI, net-banking and wallet payments are processed by Razorpay; some orders complete on Shopify’s hosted checkout. Your payment instrument details are entered on the provider’s page and handled by them under their own terms — ELIZPARIS never receives or stores your card number, CVV, UPI PIN or bank credentials.

An order is treated as paid only when the payment provider confirms it to us. If a payment is later reversed, disputed or found to be fraudulent, we may cancel the order and withhold dispatch.

A07Order confirmation and cancellation

Placing an order is an offer to buy. A contract forms when we confirm the order. We may decline or cancel an order before dispatch — for example where an item is out of stock, where a price was listed in error, or where we suspect fraudulent or abusive use. Where we cancel an order you have already paid for, we refund it in full.

You may cancel an order before it is dispatched by contacting us on the details above. Once dispatched, the returns clause below applies instead.

A08Returns, exchanges and refunds

Return window: [state the number of days from delivery]. Items must be unworn and unwashed, with tags intact and in their original packaging.

Non-returnable items: [list any exclusions, e.g. innerwear, final-sale or customised pieces].

Who pays return shipping: [state your policy]. Refunds are made to the original payment method once the returned item has been received and inspected, and typically take [state your refund processing time] to appear, depending on your bank.

If an item arrives damaged, faulty or is not what you ordered, contact us and we will arrange a replacement or a full refund at no cost to you.

A09Digital tax invoices

We may issue your GST tax invoice as a private link rather than an attachment. Opening it requires the link and the phone number on the order, and access is limited to a small number of attempts before the link locks.

Invoice links expire, and we may revoke one at any time — for example if you tell us it has been shared by mistake. Treat the link as confidential: anyone holding it who also knows the phone number on the order can view the invoice. Ask us and we will reissue it.

A10The 3D showroom and the try-on tool

The showroom is a graphics-intensive experience. It needs a browser with WebGL, and performance varies with your device; some features are reduced or unavailable on low-memory hardware. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

The watch try-on tool uses your device camera. Camera frames are processed entirely on your own device and are never uploaded to us or to anyone else — no image, video or measurement leaves your browser. The tool does load its hand-tracking model files from the third-party CDN cdn.jsdelivr.net, which means that provider can see your IP address when the tool starts, as it would for any file your browser fetches. You can revoke camera access at any time in your browser settings.

A11Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • attempt to gain access to any account, administrative area or system that is not yours;
  • interfere with the store’s operation, probe it for vulnerabilities without our written permission, or place load on it beyond ordinary use;
  • scrape, republish or resell the catalogue, imagery or 3D assets; or
  • use the store for anything unlawful.

We may suspend access where we reasonably believe these terms are being breached.

A12Intellectual property

The ELIZPARIS name, the store’s design, its product photography, copy, and its 3D models, textures and animations are owned by us or licensed to us, and are protected by copyright and trade mark law. You may not copy, adapt or redistribute them without our written permission. Browsing the store grants you no licence to its assets.

A13Liability

Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Subject to that, our total liability arising out of an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, data or goodwill.

A14Privacy

We collect the details you give us to fulfil an order — your name, contact details and delivery address — together with the order itself, and we share them with our payment and delivery partners so the order can be completed.

How we collect, use, share and retain your personal data, the rights you have over it under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and how to reach our Grievance Officer, are set out in full in our privacy policy.

A15Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version published here on the date you place an order is the version that governs it, so please review the page before ordering. Material changes will be reflected in the “last updated” date at the top.

A16Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at [name the city whose courts have jurisdiction] have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

Please contact us first — most problems are resolved quickly without anything formal.

A17Contact

Write to us at support@elizparis.com. We aim to reply within [state your response time, e.g. 2 working days].

Part B

Privacy policy

What personal data we collect, why, who it reaches, and your rights over it under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

B01What we collect, and why

We collect only what an order actually needs, and we tell you what it is at the point we ask for it.

  • Order and delivery details — your name, email address, phone number and delivery address. Needed to take payment, ship the goods and issue a GST invoice.
  • Order history — what you bought, when, for how much, and its status. Needed for support, returns and statutory accounting records.
  • A display name you may enter when entering the 3D showroom, used only to greet you during that visit.
  • Technical data — IP address, browser and device type, and pages visited, in ordinary server logs. Needed for security, fraud prevention and diagnosing faults.

We do notcollect your card number, UPI PIN or bank credentials. Those are entered on the payment provider’s own page and never reach us — see clause 4.

B02The camera, and what never leaves your device

The watch try-on tool uses your device camera to place a watch on your wrist. Camera frames are processed entirely on your own device and are never uploaded to us or to anyone else. No image, video or measurement is transmitted, stored or retained.

The tool does download its hand-tracking model files from the third-party CDN cdn.jsdelivr.net, so that provider can observe your IP address when the tool starts, exactly as it would for any file your browser fetches. You can revoke camera permission at any time in your browser settings; the rest of the store continues to work without it.

B03The legal basis: consent and legitimate uses

We process your data on the basis of your consent, given when you submit an order or enter your details, and for the legitimate uses the DPDP Act permits — principally fulfilling an order you have voluntarily placed, and complying with the law.

Consent is specific to the purposes listed in clause 1. You may withdraw it at any time, and doing so must be as easy as giving it: write to support@elizparis.com and we will stop processing on that basis. Withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out, and we may still need to keep records the law requires us to keep (clause 7). If you withdraw consent for data we need to fulfil an order in progress, we may not be able to complete that order.

B04Who we share it with

We share your data only with parties who need it to complete your order:

  • Payment providers— Razorpay, and Shopify’s hosted checkout for some orders. They collect your payment details directly and process them under their own privacy policies as independent controllers of that data.
  • Shopify — our commerce platform, which stores catalogue and order records.
  • Delivery partners — your name, address and phone number, so they can deliver the parcel.
  • Our hosting provider, which operates the servers this site runs on.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.

Some of these providers operate outside India. Where data is transferred abroad, it is done for the purposes above and subject to any restrictions the Central Government notifies under the DPDP Act.

B05Your rights as a Data Principal

The DPDP Act gives you the following rights. All of them are free to use.

  • Right to access — a summary of the personal data we hold about you, what we do with it, and who we have shared it with.
  • Right to correction and erasure — have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected or completed, and have data erased once it is no longer needed for the purpose it was collected for, unless we are required by law to keep it.
  • Right to grievance redressal — a readily available means of complaining to us, which we must answer (clause 9).
  • Right to nominate — nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of your death or incapacity.
  • Right to withdraw consent — as described in clause 3.

To exercise any of these, write to support@elizparis.com from the email address on your order. We will respond within [state your response time, e.g. 30 days]. We may ask you to verify your identity first, so that nobody else can obtain or delete your data.

You also have a duty under the Act not to impersonate anyone else, not to suppress material information, and not to file false or frivolous complaints.

B06Children

Under the DPDP Act a childis anyone under 18. We do not knowingly process a child’s personal data without verifiable consent from a parent or lawful guardian, and we do not carry out tracking, behavioural monitoring or targeted advertising directed at children.

This store is intended for adults placing their own orders. If you believe a child has given us personal data, write to support@elizparis.com and we will delete it.

B07How long we keep it

We keep personal data only for as long as the purpose it was collected for still applies, and then erase it — except where a law requires us to keep it for longer.

  • Order, invoice and tax records — retained for the period Indian tax and companies legislation requires, which is longer than the purpose itself.
  • Digital invoice links — expire automatically, and can be revoked earlier on request.
  • Server and security logs [state your log retention period, e.g. 90 days].
  • Data you asked us to erase — removed once no legal obligation to keep it remains.

B08How we protect it, and what happens if that fails

We apply reasonable security safeguards to prevent a personal data breach. Administrator passwords are stored only as salted scrypt hashes and never in readable form; administrator sessions are held in signed, HTTP-only cookies that expire; the admin console is closed to unauthenticated visitors; payment credentials never touch our systems at all; and digital invoices require both a private link and the phone number on the order, with a limited number of attempts.

No system is perfectly secure. If a personal data breach occurs, the DPDP Act requires us to notify both the Data Protection Board of India and every affected Data Principal, and we will do so in the form and timeframe the Act prescribes.

B09Grievance Officer

You have the right to complain to us first, and we are required to give you a straightforward way to do it. Our Grievance Officer, appointed for the purposes of the DPDP Act and the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines) Rules, is:

  • Name: [appoint a named individual]
  • Designation: Grievance Officer
  • Email: [a dedicated address, e.g. grievance@elizparis.com]
  • Address: [registered office address]
  • Response time: [state it — commonly acknowledged in 48 hours, resolved in 30 days]

If we do not resolve your complaint to your satisfaction, you may escalate it to the Data Protection Board of India. The Act expects you to exhaust our own grievance process first.

B10Cookies and local storage

We use browser storage for things the store cannot work without: keeping your bag between pages, remembering your admin session if you are staff, and remembering small preferences such as your chosen theme and your wishlist.

We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Clearing your browser storage will empty your bag and sign you out, but will not affect an order already placed.

Analytics: [if you add Google Analytics or similar, disclose it here and offer a way to opt out].

B11Changes to this notice

We may update this notice. The version published here on the day you use the store is the one that applies, and material changes will be reflected in the “last updated” date at the top. Where a change requires fresh consent under the DPDP Act, we will ask for it rather than assume it.

B12Contact

For anything in this notice, write to support@elizparis.com. For a formal complaint, use the Grievance Officer details in clause 9.

Part C

Disclaimer

The limits of what the store represents — 3D colour and fit, the try-on tool, availability, and pricing errors.

C01A 3D rendering is not the garment

The showroom presents garments as real-time 3D models under simulated lighting. A rendered garment is an artistic representation, not a photograph, and it will differ from the physical item in drape, texture and finish.

Colour in particular is not reliable from a screen. What you see depends on your display, its calibration and colour profile, your operating system, and the lighting in the 3D scene. Two shoppers on two devices will not see the same shade.

Where a rendering, a photograph and the written specification disagree, the written specification on the product page governs. If colour is critical to your purchase, contact us at support@elizparis.com before ordering.

C02Sizing and fit

Sizes follow the measurements listed on each product page. Those measurements are the specification; words like “regular fit” or “oversized” are descriptive only and are not a guarantee of how a garment will fit a particular body.

Measurements are taken flat and may vary by a small manufacturing tolerance of [state your tolerance, e.g. ±1 cm]. Natural fabrics may also relax or shrink with wear and washing.

C03The virtual try-on is a visualisation, not a measurement

The watch try-on estimates the position and size of your wrist from a camera image using hand-tracking. It is a visual aid for placement and style, nothing more.

It does not measure your wrist, and the size shown on screen should not be relied on to choose a strap or case size. Accuracy varies with lighting, camera quality, distance and angle. Use the stated dimensions on the product page to decide what to buy.

C04Availability, and the store as a service

The showroom is a graphics-intensive experience that needs a browser with WebGL. Performance varies by device, and some features are reduced or unavailable on low-memory hardware. We do not guarantee that the store will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at any particular time, and we may suspend it for maintenance without notice.

Products shown are not a guarantee of availability. We may withdraw, change or restock any piece at any time, and stock is not reserved until an order is confirmed.

C05Pricing and typographical errors

We take care over prices and product information, but errors happen. The price that applies to an order is the one the server calculates at checkout, which is recomputed from our own catalogue — a price displayed in your browser is never the one charged.

Where an item is listed at an obviously incorrect price, we may cancel the order before dispatch and refund it in full rather than honour the error. We will tell you if we do.

C06No professional advice

Content on this site — styling notes, fabric and care guidance, FAQ answers given in the showroom — is general information offered in good faith. It is not professional advice, and it should not be relied on as the sole basis for a decision. Follow the care label on the garment itself where the two differ.

C07Third-party services and links

The store depends on services we do not control: payment processing, the commerce platform, delivery partners, and a content delivery network that serves the try-on tool’s model files. Their availability and their own terms are outside our control.

Where the site links to an external website, we do not endorse it and are not responsible for its content, accuracy or privacy practices.

C08Limits of liability

Nothing here limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or any right you have as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 that cannot be excluded by agreement.

Subject to that, the limits set out in our terms and conditions apply: our total liability arising out of an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

C09Contact

Part D

Shipping & returns

Delivery charges and timelines, cancelling an order, the returns window, and how refunds are processed.

D01Delivery charges

Delivery is free on orders with a subtotal at or above ₹999. Below that, a flat charge of ₹79 applies.

The charge is calculated on the subtotal before discounts, so applying a coupon never introduces a delivery fee that was not there before it. The exact amount is always shown on the bill before you pay.

D02Where we deliver, and how long it takes

We deliver across [state your delivery area, e.g. all serviceable pincodes in India].

  • Dispatch [e.g. within 2 working days of payment confirmation]
  • Metro delivery[e.g. 3–5 working days]
  • Rest of India[e.g. 5–8 working days]
  • Courier partners[name them]

These are estimates, not guarantees. We are not responsible for delays caused by the courier, weather, strikes or other events outside our control, though we will help you chase a delayed parcel.

Orders are shipped to the address given at checkout. Please check it carefully — once a parcel has left us we cannot redirect it.

D03Tracking your order

We will send tracking details once your order is dispatched. You can also check an order’s status from the confirmation link you received after payment.

Your GST tax invoice may be issued as a private link. Opening it needs both the link and the phone number on the order, it expires after a period, and it can be revoked — ask us and we will reissue it. See clause 9 of the terms.

D04Cancelling an order

You may cancel free of charge at any time before dispatch — contact us at support@elizparis.com with your order number and we will refund in full.

Once dispatched, an order cannot be cancelled; the returns process below applies instead.

We may also cancel an order ourselves before dispatch — if an item is out of stock, if it was listed at an obviously wrong price, or if we suspect fraudulent use. Where you have already paid, we refund in full.

D05Returns

Return window: [state the number of days from delivery, e.g. 7 days].

Items must come back:

  • unworn and unwashed, with no marks, odours or alterations;
  • with all original tags attached; and
  • in their original packaging.

Not returnable: [list exclusions, e.g. innerwear, final-sale and customised pieces].

Return shipping: [state who pays, and whether you arrange a pickup].

To start a return, write to support@elizparis.com with your order number and a photograph of the item. Please do not send anything back before we confirm — an unannounced return may not reach the right place.

D06Exchanges

Exchanges: [state whether you offer them, and for what — size only, or any variant]. Where an exchange is not possible, we will process a return and refund instead, and you can reorder.

D07Damaged, faulty or wrong items

If something arrives damaged, faulty, or is simply not what you ordered, tell us within [e.g. 48 hours of delivery] with photographs. We will arrange a replacement or a full refund at no cost to you, including return shipping.

This is in addition to your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, which we do not limit.

D08Refunds

Refunds are made to the original payment method. We cannot refund to a different card, account or wallet.

  • Approval — once a returned item is received and inspected, within [e.g. 2 working days]
  • Processing — we initiate the refund within [e.g. 3 working days] of approval
  • Appearing in your account — typically [e.g. 5–7 working days] after that, depending on your bank or card issuer

Delivery charges are refunded when the return is our fault (damaged, faulty or wrong item), and [state whether they are refunded on a change-of-mind return] otherwise. GST is refunded in proportion to the amount refunded, and a credit note is issued against the original invoice.

If a refund has not reached you within the window above, contact your bank first, then write to support@elizparis.com with your order number and we will trace it.

D09Contact
